indie rock & other music for uplifting gourmandizers

Newcastle upon Tyne’s Acrobatic Society have tagged their Bandcamp with both “lo-fi” and “noise,” two labels that seem unlikely to both be accurate; in fact, they seem almost to nullify each other. However, just one listen to their 2011 single “Rot” brings both adjectives to mind. This song is a good ‘un, and it is an even better example of why labels for music should not exist.
